Board your vehicle and drive to Agra.

The city of Agra, the quintessence of the grand Mughal era, reigns to this day in the public mind as the embodiment of royal grace, imposing architecture and power. Agra is globally renowned as the city of the Taj Mahal. But this royal Mughal city has, in addition to the legendary Taj, many monuments that epitomize the high point of Mughal architecture. No tour to India can be complete without paying a visit to this erstwhile capital of the Mughals and the city of the Taj Mahal, the world's most beloved monument. With its laidback lifestyle and its immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery, Agra is amongst the most remarkable city of the world.

Evening visit to Agra Fort
Agra Fort, where you are taken through the chambers of this royal residence. As you drive through the city, witness the local life and bazaars (markets) and the hustle bustle of everyday India. Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra, India. The fort is also known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge and Red Fort of Agra. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its much more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It is the most important fort in India. The great Mughals Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived here, and the country was governed from here. It contained the largest state treasury and mint. It was visited by foreign ambassadors, travellers and the highest dignitaries who participated in the making of history in India.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Taj Mahal.
This magnificent monument of love, the Taj Mahal, was built by an emperor in memory of his beloved queen. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631 and is believed to have taken 22 years, with over 20,000 craftsmen working 24 hours a day. The design and construction are said to be those of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori. Legend has it that once the construction was completed, Shah Jehan had Lahori's hands cut off and blinded him so that he could never replicate the structure. What makes the Taj Mahal unique are its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, building and ornamental support. Its marble exterior reflects pink and gold hues at sunrise and sunset, while it's dazzling white during the day. It is impossible to visualize the Taj Mahal in any other environment than its paradoxical garden. Paradise, in Islam, is visualized as a lush garden with streams flowing. When the Mughals introduced this concept to India, they elevated it to incomparable heights of art.

After the visit, drive to Jaipur.

En-route visit to Abhaneri.

Abhaneri is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan state in India. It is situated at 95 km from Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Agra Road. Abhaneri was originally named Abha Nagri, which means “city of brightness,” but due to mispronunciation, the name was changed. The city is now in ruins, but it attracts tourists from across the globe. It is located opposite Harshat Mata Temple and was constructed in AD 800. Chand Baori consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells.

After the visit, continue driving to Jaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Jaipur, the city of victory, also known as Pink City, presides over the fascinating desert state of Rajasthan and its people: surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort; and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts. The palaces and forts of yesteryear that were witness to royal processions and splendour are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the "pink city". There is a timeless quality to Jaipur's bazaars and its people. With its historical past, Jaipur revives legends of the ancient Rajputs.

Ride up the fort in a jeep. The interior of the fort includes several royal rooms decorated with ivory, mirrors, and intricate glassware, complemented by exquisite murals. As you move between the rooms of this magnificent structure, feel the history, and visualize the splendour and grandeur of an unconquered kingdom.

A photo tour of the Hawa Mahal from the outside (Palace of the Winds) is also included—a five-story marvel with a dramatic pyramidal façade and overhanging windows with lattice screens, domes, and spires.

City Palace Museum: Where you can see an imposing mix of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art. The museum is resplendent with its collection of royal princes' robes, carpets, an armoury of ancient weapons, and miniature paintings depicting court scenes, battle scenes, and processions. Located in the heart of the walled city, the City Palace complex gives you a sense of the foresight of Jaipur's founder, Sawai Jai Singh. He left behind the legacy of some of the city's most imposing and magnificent architectural, artistic, and handicraft structures.

Sawai Jai Singh built its many buildings, but some of the structures were also built by later rulers and some of them are even dated to the twentieth century. The palace is a mix of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, and the royal family still lives in part of the palace. Upon entering the complex and in front of the palace proper is the Mubarak Mahal, the palace of reception or reception. Sawai Madho Singh built the palace in the nineteenth century. It served as a visitor centre for passing visitors. The building now forms the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum and displays a wide range of royal costumes, very exquisite and precious Pashmina (Kashmiris) shawls, Benares silk saris, Sanganeri prints and folk embroidery. An unusual display is the voluminous garments worn by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I (reigned 1750-1768).

The drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate (At the centre of New Delhi stands the 42m high India Gate, an "Arc-de-Triomphe" like Archway in the middle of a crossroad. It’s almost like its French counterpart war memorial. It commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the First World War and bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the North-Western Frontier in the Afghan war of 1919. The foundation stone was laid by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Connaught in 1921 and was designed by Edwin Lutyens.

President House (The palatial building built on an area of 330 acres with a private garden designed by the illustrious Lutyens, as the official residence of the Viceroy of India during British reign, is now the official residence of the First Citizen) and the Parliament House (This is the symbol of Indian democracy).
